For nearly five decades, Dr. Larry Good has provided expert gastroenterology and internal medicine care to patients on Long Island and throughout the greater New York metropolitan area. His traditional practice is built on the principles of thorough diagnosis, compassionate care, and lasting physician-patient relationships.

Dr. Good’s gastroenterology practice emphasizes comprehensive evaluation and management of all aspects of gastrointestinal and liver diseases, as well as a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. His areas of focus include:

• Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) — Comprehensive evaluation and individualized treatment plans

• Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) — Expert management of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis

• Metabolic Syndrome — Special expertise in diagnosis and management

Dr. Good is extremely proactive in the area of genetic testing, individualization of pharmacologic treatment including aggressive therapeutic drug monitoring and risk mitigation in cancer screening and prevention.

Because of Dr. Good’s ongoing interest in clinical research, he has access to novel and emerging therapies. As a Senior Research Fellow at Thomas Jefferson University, he is bringing newly emerging treatments into daily practice.
